hour 2 - one hour (bring woods 3 or 5, and iron #8)
- simple swing mechanics
for driver/fairway woods( backswing , downswing mechanics)
- ball flight laws - club head speed, effective loft
at impact, sweet spot, club head path, clubface angle
- advanced swing (hook, fade)
- dynamics of ball and ball flight analysis (distance,
height, direction, trajectory)
- hitting balls with woods #3 , #5 and # 7 for practice
hour 3 - one hour ( bring your sand wedge, lob wedge -
58 or 60 degree)
- pitching theory for 7:30, 9:00, 10:30 body swing
- lob shots, uphill pitching, downhill pitching
- introduction of sand wedge, pitching wedge, 60 degree
wedge, 64 degree wedge
- practice of pitching over 'obstacles'
hour 4 - one hour
- ball flight in windy condition with 'punch shot'
- hitting balls over/under a tree
- introduction to punch shots/ knockdown shots/backspin
shots
hour 5 - one hour
- chipping on green to the pin using 5, 7, 9 irons for
the same distance
- overall review of stroke
mechanics
- teaching course management (1. plan to avoid worst
trouble 2. do not plan on hitting perfect shot)
- start to have more fun on golf game
