  Etiquette

Before the Game :

Preparation -  Dress code and green friendly spike regulation is in effect.  Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to tee time for payment of green fee and warm-up exercises.   Classic dress for women: knee-length skirt, collared sport shirt, golf shoes.   Never carry your clubs into the pro shop.   You must have your own bag; no sharing.   It's a good idea to use sunscreen or sun block

Starting Your Game - Golf is a social sport. Please do not go in single. You can play with friends or family members.

The Honour - The golfer with the lowest score on the previous hole earns "the honour".  On the first tee, throwing a tee into the air, whomever the tee points to when it lands, the one hits first.

Where to Stand - The best location to stand is face onto them as they address the ball, well back from their field view. You must be motionless and quiet as other players prepare to hit the shot.

During the game

On the Course (after tee-off) - Whoever is furthest away from the hole plays first.

Replace Divots, Rake bunkers, Respect all course directional signage.

Carts (hand, powered) Keep all hand cart on pathways and off all tees and green.  Power cart operators must abide by all directional course signage, utilize all designated pathways and stay a minimum of 20 feet from all greens and tees.

Personal Alcoholic Beverages are strictly prohibited on the golf course.

Waving Groups Through - Pace of Play is important.  Slow play is , unfortunately, a common problem.  Please allow faster group to play through by weaving to them.

On the Green (for putting) - On the putting green, you should mark your ball with a marker . Then remove your ball to wipe the dirt off so to roll straight in putting. Your ball may be in the line of putt of others and causes visual distraction for others.

Repair the Damage on Putting Green - The green is a delicate place, any bump or mark will cause the ball off the line.  Do not walk on the line of putt of others as an important "courtesy".

Tending the Flag - When you are putting, you or your partner have to remove flag from the hole because if you hit the pole, you will receive a penalty.

Keeping Score - One scorekeeper for the group, fill out the card when you are away from green, preferably on the next tee.

After the game -  shake hands with partners showing that you enjoy the game
